Manage Answer settings

Overview

When you create a new Answer, the Answer Settings dialog is the first thing you need to complete. Use this dialog to set the basic parameters for your Answer, such as the Answer’s title, description, tags, etc.

Once you’ve created your Answer, you can still go back and adjust these settings afterwards.

Configure Answer Settings

1. In the Answer you want to configure, click Options, then click Answer settings.

2. To open an Answer’s settings dialog, go to Build > Answers, then open an Answer from the Answer list.

3. At the top of the Answers view, click Options, then click Answer Settings.

4. Adjust the settings as needed, using the following table as a guide.

   Title	Enter a unique title for your Answer. The title automatically becomes the default text for the Answer label, unless you replace it with a custom label. Read more about the Answer label below.
   Description	Enter a brief description of your Answer’s purpose. This is particularly helpful for identifying the function of each of the various Answers that make up an Answer flow.
   Answer Label	The Answer label is the default text that appears on a quick reply button. This field populates automatically with the Answer title, but it’s recommended that you update this with your own custom label.    Reviewable	This toggle controls whether or not the thumbs up/thumbs down review buttons appear in chat after a completed Answer. See Improve Answer training to learn more.
   Include in Clarifications and Suggestions	This toggle controls whether or not the Answer is included as an option when your bot encounters Needs Clarification and Suggestions scenarios.
   Tags	Add tags to Answers to categorize them and make them easier to find. You can search the Answer list by tag, or use the Tags filter to organize them automatically. Add as many of your own tags as you like. Try to stick to simple identifier words, such as Troubleshooting, Fallback, Analytics, etc.
